Hey there! I’m James, a cardiologist who’s always been into fitness—but over time, running stole my heart. What started as a hobby has turned into a real passion, and that’s why I created DrRuns.com.

This site is my way of sharing health knowledge with fellow runners. While the content might not always be about running specifically, it’s all information that runners should know—based on the latest research, and written in a way that’s easy to understand. Even though my day job keeps me busy, I’ll do my best to keep showing up here with insights that can help you run healthier and smarter.

I’m not doing this alone! I’ve teamed up with Ben, the guy behind the popular Facebook page 159 Runners. He’s a passionate Thai amateur runner with a marathon PB of 2:59:51 (yep, sub-3!). Ben’s a total running shoe nerd and gear reviewer, and I’ve admired his science-based, in-depth approach for a while—so I asked him to join me in building this site together.
