Each comparison uses randomized A/B testing: shoes are switched every 1–2 sets in a randomized order to avoid bias from fatigue or adaptation. The first two sets are excluded to allow heart rate stabilization, and all data is collected during matching workout sessions under identical conditions.


To provide more than just subjective impressions, we use high-accuracy tools:

  • Stryd Duo (Next Gen): Tracks stride length, cadence, ground contact time, vertical oscillation, and running power. Offers deep insight into running form and efficiency across different shoes.
  • RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion): Captures how fatigued the runner feels while alternating shoes set-by-set. Particularly valuable in late sets where small differences in shoe performance become more apparent.

All tests are performed by the same runner with a forefoot strike pattern, ensuring consistency. Paces range from easy (7:00/km) to race effort (3:20/km) and include intervals, steady runs, and progressions.
